Springy Easter

Spring is finally here and we are loving it :).  I finally have my energies back and am feeling normal again! (for awhile there at the end I was wondering if I'd ever feel myself again).  So now I'm trying to catch up on the things I'm behind on...one of them is the never ending laundry!  Craig always thinks it's fun to 'help', but usually he just makes it harder... oh well ;)  One week of laundry folded and done!

With the warm weather Cami, Alex, and Jeremy ran a fun run race with Aunt Chelsea and her sister.  Cami wanted Jeremy to run with her, so they did the mile.  Cami got 2nd out of all the young girls!  

And I was seriously so impressed with Alex. He ran a mile the whole way too!  Never gave up, so proud of him :)

While the able were running, Carson, Craig, Tanner, and I enjoyed the park nearby.  I got a kick out of Tanner, because he was so anxious about all the people, but once he saw a squirrel, he froze in intense concentration. LOL, so made me think of the movie up... "SQUIRREL!!"

Carson loves people, especially his friends.  Recently he's been able to go to some birthday parties and he has loved it :).  At this last one he wanted me to take a picture of him... I couldn't resist.  He's just so darn cute in his Capt. America outfit ;)

And the best Easter treat of all was that Grandma Ellie came up for Easter!!!!!!  Craig warmed up to her quickly and we all loved having her here :).

The Saturday before Easter we did our traditional cousin Egg Hunt.  I love how they are crowded at the door, ready to run for it ;)

Easter day was peaceful and perfect.  Time with Grandma Ellie is the best :)

Then this last family home evening we talked about building a firm foundation in our family.  As I watched them build their lego building, trying to figure out how to make it most stable, I couldn't help but smile.  And take a pic ;).  I feel so blessed.  I Love My Family.

The kids caught their first trout of the season. (So not a fan of trout. Salmon, yes. Trout???....) but the kids loved it! (Alex ate a whole fish by himself) We took a trip out to our friends onion packaging shop for a field trip during spring break. So cool!!! (Thanks Dedre!!) Like a busy beehive! And I'm so mad, because I had a couple of the coolest pics of us there... But my phone n I were being retarded and I accidentally erased them. Grrrrr. But it really was the neatest thing to see how everything worked at there. Afterwards, we fished and the kids brought home 6 fish :)

He is at that stage where naps are being fought. 

So he is grabbing them where ever he can :/ yes, I miss the consistent naps...sigh ;). Crazy Craig, I love you. 

Spring is Finally Here :)

Spring is here :) With it's wet and warming weather we have been enjoying what it brings.

The other week we had smoothies for a family home evening treat.  I set Craig up at the table because I figured he'd be messy.  The rest of us sat on the couch and turned on the last bit of The Voice... shortly after we see Craig carefully bringing over his smoothie, handing it to dad, and snuggling up close to just like the rest of us.  It was too cute to say no :)

I've had the snowflake wall up forever, and decided it was time to take it down! And put up some tissue pom poms for spring fun :) It was the first time I did them, and it was super easy, which I loved :) 

At the end up March Lydia Ruth joined the Christian family :O) It's so exciting to have another little girl join the fam.  Cami REALLY wanted to hold her new girl cousin.

The rain of spring doesn't keep my kiddos from going outside.  Maybe it holds me back, but I love how my kids will just make the best of whatever comes their way.

Craig loved the umbrella idea, although he didn't fully understand the affect of using one properly ;).  Either way he thought it was pretty cool to hold one.

SPRING BREAK IS HERE!!! Oh we love spring break in our household.  Totally flexibility of the schedule and actually a good breakfast! Our first official day I made whole wheat apple cinnamon coconut muffins, scrambled eggs, n oranges.  YUM!!!

Last weekend Cami and I had a girls day, it was so fun :). We shopped for her Easter dress, munched on Fro-Yo and Auntie Anne pretzels, and went to the General Women's Broadcast.  I love hanging out with this goofy girl of mine.

The other day for Family Home Evening we went to GET AIR for the first time.  A place full of trampoline fun... and it was a blast! Definitely will go back sometime.

On our first day of April we went on a rock hunt and painted them with spring colors.  Oh how we love SPRING!
