My Baby's a Year

How is it that I still feel like I just came out of the hospital!?  And then before you know it, you blink and they are grown right before your eyes.
Audrey has done just that.  Our little baby is one year old now!
She is such a little character.  A sweet little thing with just enough spice to remind us she's human ;)
And she STILL loves to put everything in her mouth.  I really do have to watch her like a hawk
And she LOVES dolls.  I haven't had a kid who loves them as much as she does
She's such a happy little thing.
And a good eater too!!  I think her favorite is steamed veggies, rice, and salmon. She can down that stuff!
On her birthday she had a fun surprise.  Hot air balloons were dotting the skies that morning.  She thought it was the coolest thing :)
She liked being the center of attention, and seemed to know exactly what to do with her presents... rip open and see what's inside!
I loved how the whole family crowded around her to watch
She loved her new toys and treats :)  I loved her new clothes!!  Thank you Grandma Ellie!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET MISS AUDREY!

September is Off!

Craig finally got the rest of his cavities filled.  He did great, slept through the whole thing!
The Craig's.  I love them both!  Grandpa Craig took little Craig out for ice cream after getting his teeth done.  Hence the funny half smile on little Craig ;)
And they are back in school!
Cami has officially started middle school, 6th grade!  Crazy.  She was worried she'd have to wait because our teachers were going to go on strike.  But to her lucky, everything got settled.  She loves her classes, helps out in the lunch room, and is learning the clarinet in band.  She thinks growing up is awesome.
This handsome guy is in 4th grade now.  Loves his sporty attire and looks forward to football every recess :).  Alex loves the social aspect of school.  His teacher even played tennis in college!  So guess what sport he wants to try now? ;0) He also just joined our fantasy football team.  He is so into the game it totally makes me smile :)
Carson feels so big this year because he's out of kindergarten and in 1st grade!  He asked me as I went to drop him off, "Don't you think it's awesome that I'm in 1st grade now?"  "Absolutely!  1st grade rocks!" ;)  He too is a little social bug.  He may never remember your name, but he will play with you out on the play ground if you're up for it.  He makes friends anywhere.  He's ready for some '1st grade' homework he said though.  "It's all kindergarten work," he says ;)
Craig wanted to go with them.  But I convinced him we'd have a lot of fun at home together :).  We did, we do.  I love this one on one time with the kids who are home.
This is an evening ritual.  And if I'll let them, they'll jump until dark.  I love it.  I love watching them, hearing them from inside, and having a peaceful moment while cleaning up at the end of the day while they get their last minute wiggles out.
Audrey LOVES outside.  I hate how she still puts everything in her mouth though, so I have to watch her like a hawk.  She pitter patters her feet all around the yard exploring everything.  Too cute.
She's wearing Cami's Hawaiian dress from when she was this age
And we got a new entertainment center from my brother for a great deal.  LOVE it!  Fits perfectly up against our wall
More outside time.  Weather has been awesome this September
And it also rained!  Finally!  Cami ran out their first thing after church.  This girl takes any chance to dance in the rain ;*
Like I said... puts everything in her mouth.  Even raw zuchinni
Alex loves projects.  So he is helping redo one of my signs.  Men and power tools. :)
PIcture Day for Cami.  Too cute to not snap a pic.
What is it about kids and dirt.  They gravitate to it no matter the age!  This time, I just let her have a hay day.
Last but not least... September Saturday mornings... love them
