He's Purr-fect

This Father's day was a little more solemn, with my brother being in hospice care.  But thankfully we were able to spend some time with Jeremy and let him know how much we appreciate and love him.
Some of Jeremy's favorite things to do are projects.  And when we do them all together, I really do feel like that's when he's happiest :)  He had a patient that was selling Rainier cherries and so we pitting and dried til we could not pit and dry any more!  Family time is a treasure
Audrey was a BIG fan of the cherries and helping ;0)
Sunday morning we made his favorite... Blueberry oatmeal and Bacon
Audrey never likes eating by herself, so most of the time she is on daddy's lap when it's time to eat :)
We love you Jeremy, Happy Father's Day!

 DAY CAMP
Squeezing in a second post on one, but Alex was able to go to day camp this year.  I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to help because Zackary was progressively getting worse.  But I was grateful to have a day with Alex at day camp.  He loves these kinds of things :)

Boating Beggars ;)

Every summer the kids BEG me to go boating.  It hasn't been a normal summer, but grandpa set up a special afternoon to take me and kids out for some boating time.
They tubed to their hearts content
Cami kneeboarded
And Alex wakeboarded.  It's kind of fun to watch them try knew things since they are older and stronger.
Grandma jumped in for a dip... it was colder than we thought!
Audrey was a little trooper
Even I went tubing with them... no bumps though of course ;)
Thank you Grandpa!
Thank you Grandma!

Inside and Out

It's not uncommon that we are playing baseball.  Indoors or out.  Although as the kids get bigger and stronger, outdoor ball is much less disastrous ;)  I'm just a succor for the game.

Father Sons Campout

Every year these boys look forward to going with dad on the annual Father/Sons campout with our ward. I love how Jeremy enjoys time with his kids.  I hope our kids remember the effort Jeremy makes to be with them and teach them.

Extended vacay

GREAT WOLF LODGE
For our anniversary Jeremy and I took the kids to Great Wolf Lodge.  Jeremy's mom had given us a gift certificate to go there a couple of years ago for Christmas for the fam, but for one reason or another we didn't end up going right away.  But I'm so glad we went, because we all had a blast!
These kids were non stop swimming and sliding.
On the second day Audrey hit a wall and needed a nap.  I was trying and trying to get her to just fall asleep in my arms.  I had left the binky in the car and was regretting it.  Jeremy came over and took her for me while I went to go grab the binky.  When I came back, she was a sleep.  "How did you do that?!" I asked.  He said he just told her he was going to hold her and she needed to close her eyes.  And she fell right asleep!  Not fair, thank goodness she went to sleep, and that is just too cute!  She loves her daddy.  Even when she was asleep and it was time to wake up, she nodded to his questions with eyes still closed.  He is our baby whisperer ;)
When the mascot of the lodge came out only Audrey was willing to take a picture with him... though her expression shows otherwise.  Hilarious!
Before we left, Alex took a picture with him too :)
Our little howler.  I love this picture.  She has her arms wrapped around him, and she is him wrapped around her finger.  She adores her daddy and it's the sweetest thing.

Mem Wkd 2016

There were a lot of things happening prior to and on memorial day weekend.  We worked in the yard...(Audrey sporting my new gardening hat.  She loves accessories ;)
Went bowling again as a fam, with Tate and Kenzie too.  I had to take a pic of Jeremy with Audrey.  She was his good luck charm he said ;)
Older kids camped out in Tate and Kenzie's backyard after pool time at gma and pa's.
Sunday Jeremy made them a shish ka-bob lunch after church.
Cami got a trim and style from Aunt Kori
And I forgot to mention a very important thing last post.  While Cami and I were off playing with the other mom's and girls, Jeremy took the little ones with him on a quick road trip to get Hood Strawberries.  The best strawberries I have ever tasted!  The other boys were at school, so Jeremy zipped over to Oregon and grabbed several crates.
He also stopped off at the park with the kids.  I'm not going to lie, hearing that he took the time to play with them up there melted my heart.  What a sweet daddy!
Then when he got back, him and boys jammed till late into the night.  And I mean all of the strawberries were jammed and kitchen cleaned when I got back.  They are amazing!!
