Christian 2012 Family Reunion @ the Oregon Coast
(Pictures in random order)
Mickers exploring the beach on the first day
Jumping in Oregon's cold coast waters
Spaghetti seaweed long enough to use as a jump rope!
We watched some people work on their glass art at their shop-so neat!
Next day at the beach by our homes
Tate, Logan, Cami, and Kate on an adventure
Some teamwork in the sand ;)
William and Carson buried neck deap!
After Carson's burial we had to wash him off in the ocean... he almost lost his britches!
Mason and Alex were always by each other's sides... they had so much fun together :). This is Alex's only boy cousin that is somewhat close to his age. He soaked it up!
Craig and Ella... baby buddies :)
Pacific City campout
Exploring for sea creatures at low tide. Cami's favorite part.
Ready, set...
Fly!!
Hayley brought a fun craft for the kiddos. Little lighthouses they got to paint themselves. I thought it was such a clever idea :)
Searching for seashells at Olivia beach. Kenzie saw several sea shells in the water, and grandpa Cheeto got them for her. They all got quite the collection
Shopping at the stores with Grandpa King Tut :)
Craig was awesome on this trip... snoozing away :)
Found a real neat park with a giant tube slide
view from the top
My mom, my sis, and me
Hiking a huge sand hill at Pacific City... that is when I sincerely realized how out of shape I am! Phew... my kids were totally passing me up. Then we all sprinted down to the water :) Jeremy went so fast he almost lost his footing! It was pretty funny.
Alex's turn in the sand with Kate assisting
The girls - Jess, me, Crystal, Shelly, Hayley (mom was taking the pic)
Colton was climbing new heights!
Ella and her daddy Tyler soaking up the sun
Attempting the airplane kite... it crash landed in the water, haha.
Mom and me :)
Watching the sea lions bark at each other @ Newport
We all took at turn down the huge slide :) Mom was going so fast on her first ride she didn't land on her feet!
Carson gets the award for the most times down!
This was a fun little contraption. Our weight would fly us off our feet as we spun around. We had contests on who could hold on the longest.
Jess and Me: I won ;)
My dad and I: My dad - barely ;)
Father and son (tyler) - dad (Tyler's height was a disadvantage)
Logan went crabbing with his dad and Uncle Ez. Caught more than crab :). AND... they had a whale surface several times only 5 ft from their boat! Scary and amazing at the same time!
Alex and Brookie's search for some good seaweed.
Lots of family time, lots of sand! Gotta love it :). Now time to go vacuum it out of my van ;).
