Sat to Sat

(I can't seem to get the whole week on my first page, so you'll have to click on older posts if you want to view the whole week.)
This last week has been very memorable for me. So much that I'd have to say it's been one of the biggest highlights of the year for me thus far. So much happened I think I'm just going to take it day by day.

Saturday June 19th:

We let Jeremy open up his Father's Day presents early and gave him a delicious waffle breakfast. Of course Carson is at his daddy's side. What a daddy's boy if you ever saw one! We love this daddy through and through!

Then later that day we went to a Scottish festival! It was quite interesting looking at the antique armory and watching people compete in some Scottish games, (not that I got any pictures of those though). There were even full bred Scottish dogs to pet. The kids LOVED that.

This little one with the big ears is called a Corgi. My next dog... if I want to fork out 800 buckaroos for it!

Then there was an old fire truck just for fun. The kids couldn't get enough of it.

Day 2

Sunday

They're here! My brother and his family came over from Missouri to spend the whole week with us! We look like such a lively bunch... but we had an excuse we just got done with a huge Father's Day dinner, we had to let it settle. :)

Mason, baby Colton, and Carson are visiting with each other for the first time. I was trying hard to snap some good pictures while Colton and Carson interacted because it was so cute when they were! (Except when they wanted the same thing of course. :)

This cute dude was so fun! Him and Carson are about 6 months apart, so when they come to visit every year they'll have a buddy. :)

Little Kenzie posing cute on the rocking horse and enjoying cousin time.

Now, I don't know if you can tell but this was one of the coolest things to me. They are playing football. The two oldest were captains, and they picked teams and got a game going! I just thought that was so neat and are old enough now to coordinate that together!

Day 3

Monday

My parents rented a bounce house and man was it a hit!! It was even cooler because we paid for a 4 hour time slot and they left it there for 24 hours with no extra fee!

Can you tell that it was fun?

Logan made a triple whip move!

Even the adults got in! It was a mad house inside sometimes. :)

Mason stuck in the hoop... on purpose of course. :) What a handsome little man!

And of course Carson was at the net... if there's a ball, he's there!

We made them sit for just a minute to take a quick pic. The bounce house was a blast!

Later that night they got the fire pit going and we al roasted Gigantic Mallows! Can you tell they're huge?!

Day 4

Tuesday

In the morning, my sister-in-law invited us to their ward primary activity. Slip n' slides and hot dogs!! What a cool set up!

Carson took some getting use to the water, but after awhile he slid down. He sure enjoyed his hot dog though. :)

That night was our last T-Ball game. I don't think I ever posted anything about it but we signed Cami up for T-Ball. And the reason we have a slight lack of pictures with Cami in action is because Jeremy and I coached the team of 13 five to six year olds. Wow! I'd have to say that on the first day of practice I was thinking, "What did I get myself into!!?" But then I fell in love with all the kids and watching them improve and grow. It really was a load fun to be a T-Ball coach and I would absolutely do it again. Our sponsor was the Senior Center, so I thought our team name was quite cute. It was funny to me also, because every time I called in the team I'd be yelling, "Okay Grand Kids come on in!" It seemed the parents always started chuckling when I would say that. :)

I tried taking a picture of our team picture... it's about the best I could do.

Carson had to try the uniform on for size. :)

Day 5

Wednesday

A Minute to Win it!!! Haley put the games together for some family fun! You had just one minute to accomplish the tasks.

Mom's challenge was to get 5 noodles on a spaghetti stick only using her mouth in just one minute. She got 2!

Alex was to balance 4 brownie squares on his head in just one minute. He needed just alittle assistance. :) Good job Alex!

The kids had fun with this one. They were to get 5 cottonballs on a separate plate with only their nose. They'd stick their nose first in vaseline and then in a mound of cottonballs collecting as many as they could. It was so cute to watch them try to get them off! :)

My brother Zack had to get all the tissue out of 2 kleenex boxes in just one minute... you should of seen him! His hands were flying! :)

Mason and dad had to unroll a roll of toilet paper around their body in just a minute. It's not as easy as it looks. You get a little dizzy! :)

And of course I check on Carson during the games and what is he doing? Playin with the teatherball. :)

Tate and Ezra had to knock down pop cans with a yo-yo attached to their waste. We should have tied Ezra's alittle higher, it was too easy for him. :)

Jake tried the challenge of blowing all the cards except for one off of a bottle... now that's hard!

Colton was so cute snacking I had to get a shot of him. :)

Now this challenge just cracks me up! You have to put an Oreo on your forehead, and using only your facial muscles, you need to get the cookie in your mouth. LOL... I laugh every time I look at these pictures! Thanks for the fun Haley!
