8 months

Audrey is now 8 months old and still full of smiles :), although she has been showing a few other colors lately ;).  Right now her biggest things are crawling and pulling herself up onto things, aka getting into everything!
She loves sitting up in the bath now.  Endless splashing :)
Climbing up everywhere
How do they sleep like that??  Only babies :)
Craig asked to hold Audrey, and she is almost just as big as he is!!!
This is when I first saw her start pulling herself up.  We lowered the crib immediately!! Growing up too fast
She puts everything in her mouth, no joke.  Even the steering wheel ha
Crawling everywhere at the soccer jamboree
And she LOVES her daddy.  When he comes and if she's awake, she crawls right too him.  It's too cute
And her thighs!!  I love her squishable rolly thighs.  All my other babies have had smaller legs, and didn't realize how much fun it is to have a chubby baby :)
Oh, and did I mention she loves her daddy ;).  Sharing is good

A little on the SIDE

I have come to love soccer season.  At the end of the season, Cami's coach had a scrimmage put together between the girls and their parents/families.  And let me tell ya', soccer is not easy! I have OK hand I coordination, but when it comes to my brain and feet... I'm at a loss, haha! Cami's team did so good this year, only losing one and getting first at their jamboree tournament.
Alex's team I don't think won a single game, but from the first game to the last you could see how much they had improved!! I've always been impressed with Alex's natural abilities when it comes to athletics.  No matter where they put him he did so well!
We now have a tent that finally fits the whole family, so we can do some camping this year.  But we had to test it out in the backyard first, right??  I think they slept in it the whole weekend :)
We also celebrated Memorial Day.  Every year my mom goes and puts flowers on her brother's grave.  Charles Green.  I've never met Uncle Chick, but look forward to the day!  During the Vietnam war his barracks were bombed while he was sleeping.  I can't imagine what my grandparents went through when they heard their son was gone.  I am so grateful for all our soldiers, those who have served and are serving today.  My heart swells and eyes fill when I think about them and their families.  We've had/have quite a few who have/do serve in the military within our family.   My uncle here, Jeremy's Grandpa Elliott as a marine, Jeremy's brother as a Marine, my grandpa Christian served in Okinawa, our brother-in-law is in the military today, my cousin served in Desert Storm, and Jeremy's cousin and his wife serve in the navy today.  God Bless our troops.  God Bless America.
Cami also got to go on her 5th grade Seattle field trip, finally!!!!  Up by 5am and home at 1 am the next day.  She had so much fun :)
I've also done a few projects recently.  A desk Jeremy grew up with, I dressed up a bit.
And a silhouette project above our family pictures.  It's fun to be crafty ;)

No Bueno

I always feel bad when the kids are sick, because they feel so miserable.  But at the same time, I see their sweetness (aside from the puke you have to deal with ;).  Children are so precious and worth every bit of mess and hair pulling.

WHEN THEY ARE SICK....
WHEN THEY ARE NOT! ;)
I LOVE MY BOYS!!

My little 3 year old

Our little Craig is officially 3!  It was so fun to play with him all day on his birthday.  He is finally at the age that he realizes birthdays are pretty awesome :).  He was hooting and hollering all day about everything.  Some things about Criag... he LOVES dirt.  For example, one day, when I had just given him a bath, he goes out back. I tell him... "Okay Craig, no dirt.  You just took a bath."  About 10 minutes later I go out to check on him and sure enough, he was playing in dirt, ha!  "Craig, I said no dirt!"  His response, "But Mom, I love dirt!"  I couldn't help but laugh.
He also loves games.  Any game, enough if he doesn't know how to play it at all.  We improvise quite a bit on some.  So on his birthday we played Candyland.
And trains, oh my how he loves trains.  Totally a boy :)
We also went puddle jumping on his birthday.  Last year it was so warm that we bought a slip and slide and had a bbq.  Well the rain brought a different kind of fun.  Now you have to understand something about Craig, he's not too keen on trying new things.  Like at all.  So when I first went out to take him puddle jumping, he was against it.  So I put on my sandals and showed him how it was done.  Then we did it together.  After that, we searched the whole block for any kind of puddle.  The deeper the better!
One of Craig's new favorite foods is Brownies.  He could eat a half of pan of brownies all by himself in one day, no joke!  One time I let him eat as many as he wanted and he almost did just that.  So we made birthday brownies.  All day long he would pull a chair over to the oven and ask, "Now can I have my birthday brownies??"  I, of course, told him we needed to wait.  Well he did SO good, until right before dinner.  I caught him making a swipe in his brownies ;).  He couldn't resist!
And  what boy doesn't love 'Cars' stuff.  So we got him some wall decals for his room.
The last present was his new little stryder bike.  He took to it well! I was actually surprised he even tried it.  But with all the other big kids biking around, he wanted to be biking too :).  Thanks Grandma Ellie!
The 3 fingers :)
Oh we love you so much Craig!  Happy happy birthday!  With lots of kisses and hugs! :*

Planting the Garden

Aside from all the flowers, I really do think this is one of my favorite things about Spring.  The kids are such good helpers :)
