Cami
FINALLY lost her first tooth.
The only reason I say it like that is because she's been wiggling this baby since it was even a
smidgen loose. (
All her other friends have lost at least one tooth except for her... she says.) She cracks me up. So after recess they come inside and sit down on the carpet for some reading time. As she wiggles her tooth, it pops out.
She told me she quickly became worried and silent,
"Because I didn't know if losing a tooth at school was okay to do." I just started to laugh.
Then I ask, "
So did your teacher just find out on her own?"
Cami
replies, "
No."
The prying starts... "
Okay so did you just all of a sudden get the gumption to just tell your teacher?"
Cami: "
No."
Me:
"Okay then, how did your teacher find out?!"Cami: "
I wrote her a note!" The note said: "
I lost a tooth."
Once again I started laughing and then gave her a huge hug. It's always interesting to hear your
children's' experiences when you get the whole story. I think I'm going to pry a
little more about her day. You hear some interesting stories. :)
