Jeremy was the first to jump off the boat and feel the surprisingly cool, yet refreshing river. Then the kids jumped in after him. :)
Then... the tube ride. It didn't go as well as planned because once they took off the front of the tube submerged in the water and overwhelmed the kids. BUT... Cami got back on with Grandma to try it again after her cousins Kate and Brooke showed her that it was safe. Alex?... maybe another time. It was alittle tramatic for him. :)
As for Carson... the ride was just too relaxing to resist taking a snooze.
I think Alex's favorite part was at the wheel with Grandpa. It was just too cute to pass up this pic.
Cami, Kate and Brooke climbed up front with Aunt Haley to let the breeze fly through their lovely locks. That use to be MY favorite spot on the boat when I was a kid. :) (Haley... Brookie's little half cheek still cracks me up!)
At the end I got to try Wake Surfing! My brother Ezra was continuously, and might I add patiently, trying to coach me into being successful. I had tried it once before, but like I had previously mentioned... it's been a long time. Now this is a pathetic showing of wake surfing because I can barely go for more than 5 seconds, but nonetheless.... it was a blast!

I am so jealous...I don't even know how long it has been since I was out on a boat. Looks like tons of fun, and you've got some serious surfing skills!
Been a while for me on a boat as well. Looks like you all had a blast. Surfing! Awesome even if it is 5 seconds. I went wakeboarding looooonggg time ago and it was fun.
Looks like so much fun!! We could definitely use a friend with a boat in this 100+ degree weather!

Yeah boating!! I know what you mean about the wake surfing, sometimes I get it no problem and others I just fail over and over.... Oh well, it's a great way to beat the heat.
What fun, I have so many fun boating memories too. It's so much fun to get to do those same things with your own kids, and your kiddos look like they had loads of fun. They are all so adorable, seriously. :)
carina you did awesome..esp since the water was so BAD! you guys are going to have to come out more. my girls have so much more fun when they have their little cousins to splash with! the picture of you and carson is so cute! that is a framer.
