The boys Went FISHING!

This last weekend Jeremy took our 3 yr. old Alex on his very first over-night fishing trip. Alex didn't know what to expect, but ended up loving it! It was so cute to see him when he got back, just alittle more grown up. He became and acted more like a little man instead of a little boy. They slept in a fishing boat on a lake. It was funny because he felt so proud of himself, not just because he caught so many fish or because he got to hang out with all the guys, but because he peed in a can! LOL... that one made me laugh.

Here Jeremy is filleting the stealhead... him and Alex brought home 12 stealhead. And that's not including the ones he brought home from the weekend before! Fish anyone?

As for Cami, Carson, and I, we spent alittle time with mom, dad, and my sister before she leaves to college in a couple of days. Here we are having breakfast on the boat. I can't believe my sis is going to college tomorrow! We're going to miss you Jess.

thats funny about Alex and the can :) Brody's favorite part about camping is the fire and peeing on trees!

Our Dallin loves to pee in crazy places too. We tell him our garden is so big because of all his pee! And what a catch!

What a great weekend! Mikey loves to pee in a cup too. It must be a favorite among the boys. :)

Sounds like you all had a lot of fun. Alex is so cute. As for the fish...thanks but we'll pass on the offer. :) lol Maybe we'll have to share something from the Dirty Bird with you again. ;)

Boy's are so funny. Kaeson wants to pee outside all day long. We go camping so much that it's hard to tell him no.

Where is your sister going to school?

What a little man! I can't even begin to imagine Carter sleeping in a boat. Jeremy is very brave!

How fun! That is a mighty fish they caught! Jeremy is such a good dad! I'm sure Alex will remember the fishing trips for years to come!

It's great to see you had some water fun too...including breakfast (how cool is that?!)! You guys are awesome!

It's so important for the boys to have those bonding experiences. Being home with mom all day (and sisters--especially the older ones that are very girly and like to dress-up)can really stunt a boy's "manly" growth!

Brad took Finn camping last month. Brad said that in the car on the way home Finn said, "now I'm big like you!"
