Thanksgiving 2015

This year we adventured off to Boise for Thanksgiving to be with Grandma Ellie and family.  It was so much fun and such a treat to be with family.  I think one of the highlights for the kids was ice skating.  Once Cami found out they had an ice skating rink outside at the nearby outlet mall, Cami would NOT let up on the idea.  So last minute, Jeremy gave Cami the okay... despite the teen degree weather outside!  So we bundled everyone up and hit the rink the minute it opened.
It was hard for Audrey to stay warm but Grandma gave lots of snuggles and huddled near the heating lamps.
Getting on the skates is no easy task.
And she was beaming! :)
Carson did well and was careful, but clocked his noggin at the very end, prompting him to finish a little early.  That ice is like cement!
Alex was a pro at it :)  With an occasional biff.  But he got right back up and kept on skating!
In order to give Carson a little speed, Jeremy helped him along the ice.
Craig was dying to go out there too, so Jeremy snuck him onto the rink tandem style ;)
It was nice there because they also had a little play ground to entertain the youngn's
Audrey did her best to stay happy, but it just got to be so cold!  But she sure looks cute in her get up ;)
To warm the chilled bones I took Carson and Audrey back to the van and turned on the heater and gave her snacks.  That brought out on happy baby :)
On Thanksgiving day we were able to have dinner with Josh and Amie's family.  Cousin time is the best!
Audrey also made friends with Grandma pup Evie :)
We played, we ate, we shopped, we worked on little projects, we watched movies, we had a wonderful time.  Audrey crashed every night, and I couldn't help but take a picture of it :)
Thank you Gail, Josh, and Amie for having us!

Family Funnies - Inside Out

If you have ever seen the movie 'Inside Out', you'll know where this comes from.  And so the kids and I were reenacting the emotions.  We were ROLLING!!
Joy
Fear
Sad
Anger
Cool (not one of the characters from inside out but we thought disgust always tried to act this way)
And Disgust
Good times ;)  Good memories
p.s.  I love Craig in these pics... just peeking in and being apart of whatever is going on

Windy Leaves

Every fall we get a lot of wind.  Every year, a part of our fence breaks down.  This year it was our front gate.  Whoever put in the fence, they chose to bury the cemented posts underground... which will rot the wood.  We've lived here 4 years now and have had to replace for posts.  Oh well.  But what I love about this picture is Carson.  From the time he was little-er, he was ALWAYS helping with projects.  Not because he was asked to, but because he loves to help with them!  I think it's the cutest thing.  And shoveling dirt wasn't particularly easy for him.  But he wanted to do it anyway.
The rest of us raked the billion leaves that blew into our yard.  OH how kids love leaves!! Cami encouraged Tanner to join in the fun.  He LOVED getting buried haha
They piled it high and got a running start...
I spy with my little eye, someone named Craig ;)...
When Audrey woke up from her nap she got to play in it while we raked them into bags
Alex loves his little sister... it is the sweetest thing to me to watch them interact <3 p="">
The weather has been getting colder and colder... so we make sure to bundle up when we head to the park.  The two love swinging.  Audrey get's mad if I EVER take her out.
And Craig loves it when I push him as high as he can go.  Children are our greatest treasures.

Recently Cami and I were able to go on a girls night getaway for her friend's 12th birthday.  Parents were able to come along if they wanted.  Um, yes please!!  IT was so much fun!
We went and got pedicures
It the mall for a couple of hours
These girls are so much fun. Left to Right:  Cami, Meg (bday girl), Kate, and Halle
Grabbed dinner and Texas Roadhouse

Catching Fish

Jeremy loves to go fishing, especially when he can take people with him.  The kids want to go with him every time they can!  (There have been times where they've even skipped school to go.. shhh!)  But a couple of weekends ago, Jeremy's brother, Josh and his son Peyton, came down to catch some fall salmon.  Boy did they get a big one!
Look at those smiles :)
Proud of their fish
Meanwhile, Audrey has been turning into a monkey.  Climbing up on everything.  If she see's a chair scooted out, she shoots past me as fast as she can so she can get up on the table.  Little stinker!
It really is hard to keep her off the table ;)
I also caught a cute little bugger!  My sweet, energetic, one of a kind little Craig!  I think I could eat him up ;)

Halloween 2015

For starters... I don't create costumes.  I'm the type of mom that says, "Let's find what's in the house and see what we can turn ourselves into!" or "Goodwill Please!".  But this Halloween was a little different.  Cami had a request... Frost Princess.  Like her dad, she googled, researched, and showed me the type of look she was going for.  Needless to say, we didn't have what she wanted in the house.  So I did what do??  Called my mom, "Help me!"  I am not very good when it comes to sewing, so it was SO helpful to have my mom guide me through simple steps.  We had to down play her lavishing ideas of a costume, but she absolutely loved it.  And that was all that mattered.  She put it on every day 'til Halloween came.  Glitter was EVERYWHERE.
Thankfully the boys had much simpler ideas for Halloween ;)  A seahawk player and Batman, (costume had, courtesy of Grandma Elli!).
Jeremy even dressed up for the Trunk-Or-Treat as a fisherman and he won the costume contest for the guys with it!  Nice work babes ;).  Cami invited her friend Chloe Marshall to come with us too.  She was a punk rocker, which went perfectly with her dyed pink hair :)
The rest of us, (Craig, Audrey, and I), vegged at home.  Nor did we dress up.  I figured since they wer sick, I'd stay home to hand out goodies to street passer-byers.  Which was hardly any!  Oh well... it was a happy Halloween :)
